Our Wedding is being held on the feast day of Our Lady of La Sallette, an approved Marian Apparition, as well as the Feast day of St. Januarius, a saint to whom a known miracle is attributed: The Miracle of the Blood.





Our Lady of La Salette is an approved Marian Apparition in the Catholic Church. This is one of only 16 approved Marian apparitions by the Catholic Church. Our Lady of Salette refers to an apparition of the Virgin Mary that was reported (& confirmed after being investigated by the Vatican,) in 1846 France, to 2 young shepherds in La Salette-Fallavaux, France.





St. Januarius, also known as San Gennaro, is a revered figure in the Catholic Church, particularly in Naples, Italy, where he is the patron saint. He was martyred during the Diocletian September 19th, 305 A.D.





He is known for the miraculous liquefaction of his blood, a phenomenon that attracts pilgrims and observers to Naples Cathedral three times a year. A vial of St Januarius's blood is said to liquify 3 times a year on his feast day, September 19th, (commemorating his martyrdom) December 16th, (celebrating his patronage of Naples and its archdiocese), and the Saturday before the first Sunday of May. (commemorating the reunification of his relics.)





St. Januarius is also recognized for his steadfast faith during the Diocletian persecution and his efforts to protect fellow Christians.
